About Me

Ashley Nee was born abroad in Germany on September 11, 1987. She lived in New York until age 9. The remainder of her youth she lived in Lansing, Kansas. She attended Immaculata High School for three years and then transferred to Lansing High School. She graduated in 2005.

She graduated with an Associates of Arts in Criminal Justice in 2011 from the University of Phoenix. She then went on to Kaplan University for her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and will graduated in 2013. Her future plans are to go back for her Masters in Psychology with a specialization in addiction counseling.



Writing has always been a very important role in her life. She wrote for her high school newspaper at Immaculata. She took more English and Literature classes than many, even taking an independent writing course in high school.



She currently has one published book of poetry and is working on a novel. Ashley also likes to write short stories as well.

Ashley married in 2008 to Douglas Nee, Jr. She has three children, a girl and two boys and currently lives in central Wisconsin.​
